Watercolorist Tom Richardson draws inspiration from nature and human experience in the natural world. As a child growing up on the outskirts of Boston, he was fascinated by the local plants and animals of his suburban world. After many years as a writer, editor, photographer, and videographer, he turned his attention to watercolor painting, which he feels best captures the beauty, wonder, and peace inherent in the outdoors. He currently lives and paints on the South Coast of Massachusetts.
